Hi, I’m Linda Sheldon and I live and work in the beautiful High Peak area of Derbyshire with my husband, two kids and a Spaniel called Sasha who can often be found sitting on my chair supervising me in my workshop!
I am lucky to live in such a stunning part of the UK where I need only look out my window to find inspiration.
2020 was a difficult year, made all the more challenging by a second redundancy from a coaching role I loved. Having been on my own personal voyage of discovery I knew how much pleasure I got from working with people to help them achieve their goals. I’ve always enjoyed learning new skills so I attended a local stained glass workshop in order to make a gift for Mother’s Day which I enjoyed and which started me off on an unexpected road to creating beautiful objects with coloured glass.
By sharing my new found hobby with friends and family I discovered that this fulfilled a creative side that I never knew I had and I could still work with people to help them find that perfect gift. It also became a great way for me to focus on the here and now, through the numerous stages of making a stained glass piece which has helped me personally weather the storm.
I noticed that others liked what I created and many pieces and smiles later, I founded LindaS Art Glass and a new beginning. These days you can find me in my home studio creating unique pieces of art or out and about sharing my skills with people who love stained glass too.
My very first piece!
